We believe that we should play an active role in the social, ethical, and environmental issues that affect the communities we serve. We therefore support specific initiatives.

Nedgroup Investments Fundisa Fund

Nedgroup Investments, in collaboration with Government and ASISA (the Association for Savings & Investment South Africa) have developed a savings product called the Nedgroup Investments Fundisa Fund. It aims to incentivise people to save for tertiary education.

Donations to charities through the Nedgroup Investments Balanced Fund 

Nedgroup Investments seeks to provide a sustainable income stream through the donation of a portion of the fee income - not the investors' investment return or capital appreciation - to four organisations that strive to uplift communities. They are:

  • NICRO, a national crime prevention organization that aims to create a safer South Africa.
  • Childline, a non-profit organization that works to protect children from all forms of violence and to create a culture of children's rights in South Africa.
  • Rape Crisis, who work to improve access to care, treatment and justice for rape survivors.
  • Habitat for Humanity, works with communities that invite them to partner with them to help address their housing needs.

Nedbank Group's community projects

As a member of the Nedbank Group, Nedgroup Investments is able to participate in some of Nedbank Group's community projects. These include: Nedbank Affinities, Nedbank Sponsorships and Nedbank Foundation.
